Marvel at the Majestic ancient rainforest of Mossman Gorge within Daintree National Park where you will walk through the World Heritage listed rainforest by track to view the cool mountain river waters cascading over giant boulders into swirling rock pools. ( swimming suggested)

Travel North through the beautiful Cape Tribulation National Park on a leisurely 72km run providing views of the Reef and mixed with former bush tracks over crystal clear jungle creeks - viewing some of the oldest rainforest on earth!, including primative King Ferns & Licuala Ramsayi Fan Palms.

Once you have returned across the Ferry ( $20 no booking required ) at the Daintree River, now is the time to consider a 1 hour crocodile and wildlife cruise on the Daintree River. Discover the natural beauty with small groups and a local naturalist guide. Departs 10 times per day.

Up the mountains we go over the Rex Range to the Cairns Highlands. Mt Molloy with one of the oldest Australian Pubs known on the Tablelands. Into the Savannah and Wetlands of Mareeba to maybe visit the local Coffee Works and Granite Gorge - home of the Rock Wallaby.

After Lunch head across the top to Tinaroo Dam for your 2nd nights stay. The Caravan Park and Lodge is situated right on the Dam. They have waterfront barbeques at no cost. Grab some timber and have yourself a fire and bottle of wine, whilst listening to the silence. The Park itself has excellent facilities, hot/ cold showers, undercover dining area, laundromat facilities and swimming pool. There is a shop to provide everything needed to cook a meal, and fuel at reasonable prices.

Country Pub with Counter Meals is 5 minutes away.
